"Exploration of Contributing Components to Vanilla (Vanilla planifolia) Odor" announced
at the 60th Annual Symposium on the Chemistry of Terpenes, Essential Oils, and Aromatics.
By conducting evaluations using our patented AROMATCH® technology, we were able to identify the components contributing to the odor of Madagascar vanilla beans. Additionally, by focusing on each vanilla bean odor profile the study provided information on the odor components that provide the unique sweet and western-alcohol flavors of vanilla beans.
Furthermore, these research results were presented orally at the 60th Annual Symposium on the Chemistry of Terpenes, Essential Oils, and Aromatics (2016) under the title "Exploration of Contributing Components to Vanilla (Vanilla planifolia) Odor."
