Announcement Regarding Change in Shareholder

SODA AROMATIC Co., Ltd. hereby announces that a share transfer agreement has been executed with Samyang Corporation (Korea) for the transfer of all shares of the Company held by Toray Industries, Inc. and Mitsui & Co., Ltd.

The shares are expected to be transferred to a Japanese entity to be established by Samyang Corporation. As a result, the Company’s ownership structure is expected to change.

The share transfer is subject to the satisfaction of customary closing conditions, including the necessary regulatory approvals. We will provide further updates once the transaction has been completed.

Samyang group operates businesses in a wide range of sectors, including chemicals, food, packaging, and biopharmaceuticals. As a member of the Samyang Group, we aim to further accelerate our business growth and enhance our corporate value.

At this stage, we do not expect any significant impact on our business operations as a result of this transaction, and we will continue our operations under the current management structure.
