3.Perfumery Usage
PENTALIDE can be widely used in any perfume, alcoholic cosmetic, hair care, soap, perfume, and even in laundry detergent perfume. Especially using in alcoholic perfumes, it has a good effect on softening the irritant odor of ethyl alcohol and it performs as an excellent fixative on the skin.

Biodegradability
PENTALIDE is readily biodegraded.

The biodegradability of PENTALIDE was conducted in accordance with the OECD Guideline 301C :  Ready Biodegradability, Modified MITI test (
T).

The substance is considered readily biodegradable according to the criterion of this test when the amount of O2 required is
60%of the theoretical amount of O2 within 10 days counting from the day that the observed level of degradation first exceed 10% (10-day window).This result must be obtained within the test duration 28 days.

PENTALIDE was degraded up to 87% after 28 days and also passed the 10-day window criterion. Thus, it can be concluded that PENTALIDE is readily biodegradable.
