MILK LACTONE
1.Identity
Mixture of 5-and 6-Decenoic Acids.
2.Odor
Powerful milk-like, somewhat green fruity note reminiscent of Jasmine lactone, Gardenia, and Peach skin. A rose absolute aspect appears after dry out.
3.Perfumery Usage
Used in heavy floral and fruity fragrances to give a unique milk-like richness. It harmonizes well with Methyl dihydrojasmonate at low use levels and imports a floral fruity richness of absolute jasmin aspect.
4.Odor Tenacity
Longer than 7 days on a smelling blotter.
5.Stability
Excellent in alcoholic solution, hair shampoo, rinse, and fabric softener. Not so stable in high alkaline products,such as laundry detergents and bleaching agents.
Non-discoloring in any application.
